Crews work generally work an 11+1 hour day 6 days a week with the 7th day usually on a Sunday being left free, however crews here are used to adapting to standards from other regions due to the varied foreign crews and standards which they have worked with in the past. The film industry is not unionised but a fair-treatment culture at European Union levels of protection is taken as a given.
English and Maltese are the two main languages with Italian and French very widely spoken.
